Though I’m not liking the blowpipe….. That just…Rubs me the wrong way for some reason…..

Well, if we gonna DIG into it:

- A machete makes sense because, as it states, sugarcane… 

- With some quick Googling, it looks like some of the NDN nations were about blowguns in the Eastern US, but for hunting small game, not for larger creatures (like, say, people). 

So, it’d be equivalent to listing a bunch of legit weapons then having, “River Stone!”

“Yes, the ancestral weapon of the English!  Used to hunt small animals! It’s ETHNIC.”

OTOH, the thing they could have done, which I’m sure they didn’t, because videogames just stay failing on brown people culture - if the blow gun was poisoned with the stuff the Voudon feared would make someone into a “zombie” in order to use them for diversion tricks on your assassination runs?  That could be fun.

Of course, it means any of the POC who knew you used that would be fucking fearful of you and avoid your ass as much as possible…

And like I said to DTWPS, she be usin that machete to cut up slave owners. That is my headcanon and I refuse to see it happen any other way….
